Alex Michaelides is a British-Cypriot author and screenwriter. He studied English literature at Cambridge University and earned an M.A. in screenwriting from the American Film Institute in Los Angeles. “The Silent Patient” is his debut novel, which became a bestseller in several countries and won the Goodreads Choice Award for Best Mystery & Thriller in 2019.
